JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION TITLE: Logistics Support/ Freezer Support - Line
REPORTING TO: Logistics Manager

General Accountability
Logistics Support personnel are responsible for any duties that are laid out by the Logistics Manager. Approximately 95% of work is completed in a Freezer environment where temperatures are regularly kept at -10F/-23C.
Specific Accountabilities:
- Become proficient at using pallet jacks and reach trucks to be able to pick orders, move inventory, load/unload trucks as needed throughout the day.
- Wrap skids from Production or for Orders/ensure wrapping is adequate to ship across the country
- Assist with all daily and weekly cleaning tasks related to loading dock, dry storage, cool room or machinery
- Stack skids according to skid patterns
- Ensure accurate items are on the same skids
- Follow GMP’s
- Report maintenance issues to Logistics Manager

Qualifications, Education, Experience:
- High School diploma
- Previous Forklift or Lift Truck certification an asset (we will certify as needed)
- Minimum 1 year experience working in Logistics/warehouse environment (preferred)
- Good Communication abilities
- Excellent organizational skills
Working Conditions:
Physical Effort: Work activities require frequent periods of physical effort. Work includes frequent bending, lifting, and carrying large, awkward or heavy objects with required ability to sit for extended periods of time. Lifting 50lbs.
Physical Environment: Work environment contains exposure to mild unpleasant or disagreeable conditions with a remote possibility of risk of accident or health hazards. Cold Environment.
Sensory Attention: Work activities involve need to concentrate for intermediate durations at a time with some tasks requiring close attention. The need for detailed or precise work is moderate.
Mental Stress: Frequent exposure to mental pressure conditions where mental stress would be noticeable (repetitive tasks).
