Job Overview
We are currently seeking expressions of interest from qualified Child and Youth Care Workers, Community Support Workers, and Behaviour Interventionists for anticipated future opportunities within a developing child and youth support organization.
The organization is currently in the planning and development stage and is building a roster of potential candidates who may be considered for future positions as services become operational.
Qualified candidates may have experience supporting children, youth, and families through behaviour intervention, community inclusion, respite, residential care, mental health support, developmental disability services, or related fields.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 19 years of age.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a clear Criminal Record Check, including a Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certification or willingness to obtain prior to employment.
- Valid BC Driver's Licence and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certificate, diploma, or degree in Child and Youth Care, Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, Behaviour Intervention, Criminology, Education, or a related field.
- Experience supporting children, youth, or vulnerable populations.
- Experience working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, mental health challenges, trauma, or behavioural support needs.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed practice, positive behaviour support, and person-centred approaches.
- Experience working collaboratively with families, schools, community agencies, and multidisciplinary teams.
- MANDT, NVCI, Food Safe, or other relevant certifications are considered assets.
Pay: $18.00-$27.50 per hour
