Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and professional Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional therapeutic massage services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. Duties
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing various techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, lymphatic drainage, Prenatal and Postpartum massages.
- Assess client needs and develop customized treatment plans to address specific concerns or preferences.
- Maintain detailed and accurate client records, including treatment notes and progress reports.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or wellness practices.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and relaxing environment by adhering to sanitation standards and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their health history, preferences, and feedback during sessions.
- Stay current with the College requirements and continuing education requirements to enhance skills and knowledge.
Experience
- Prior experience as a Massage Therapist is preferred but not mandatory. New grads are welcome.
- Compensation Split basis-75%
- Strong communication skills are necessary for effectively interacting with clients and team members.
- Certification from an accredited massage therapy program , professional liability insurance, City license and Provincial licensing are required to practice legally.
