Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency in every dish.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout your shift.
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures, including storage, temperature control, and hygiene practices.
- Assist with cashiering duties using Micros POS (Point of Sale) systems to process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely food preparation and service during busy periods.
- Support the serving team by upselling menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including sanitizing surfaces, washing dishes, and disposing of waste properly.
Qualifications
- Previous food preparation or food service experience is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash handling tools is a plus.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude toward guests and team members.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, order accuracy, and inventory management.
- Experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
