We are looking for a qualified Sales account manager to join our team. You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with customers and overseeing sales.
As a Sales account manager, you should work to satisfy customers’ needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be customer service oriented.
Ultimately, you should be able to grow our business by building successful, long-term client relationships.
Responsibilities will include:
- Obtain and organize incoming quotation requests from Sales team and Management
- Updating and managing customer information
- Contact vendors for pricing
- Provide pricing quotations and following up on quotes
- Organize logistics to deliver orders on time
- Facilitate a job closing strategy with sales team prior to a tender closing
- Conduct quotation follow ups to obtain tender closing bid results
- Successful candidate will be working closely with the sales and management team.
- Provide feedback and reporting to sales and management team as to reasoning behind successful and unsuccessful opportunities.
- Maintain and strengthen client and distributor relationships
Skills and Experience:
- Completion of post-secondary education in related field
- Experience in Oil and Gas industry, manufacturing and related process
- Experience with drawings and tender documents
- Excellent leadership and communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to identify, plan, organize, prioritize and execute projects in a timely manner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, must be fluent in English
- Highly skilled in a Windows Office environment, knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, a must
