Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Smartphone Repair Technician to join our innovative team in Yorkdale Shopping Centre. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and restoring a wide range of mobile devices, including Samsung smartphones, tablets and laptops. Your expertise will ensure our customers receive top-quality service and reliable device performance. Responsibilities
- Triage of mobile devices using proprietary testing equipment and software.
- Perform repairs such as screen replacements, battery swaps, camera fixes, and internal component repairs using hand tools and schematics.
- Troubleshoot software problems related to operating systems like Android and Windows.
- Use analysis skills to identify root causes of device malfunctions and implement effective solutions.
- Test repaired devices thoroughly to ensure optimal performance before returning them to customers.
- Report repair actions into proprietary shop floor tracking system and complete work order in timely manner
Qualifications
- Proven experience repairing smartphones, tablets, or other mobile devices with a strong understanding of computer hardware components.
- Familiarity with operating systems such as Android and Windows.
- Skilled in using hand tools, schematics, and diagnostic software for troubleshooting electronic devices.
- Strong analysis skills to evaluate device issues accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada.
