Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our Mapple Health Services team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role requires excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach to ensure a positive experience for every client. The Massage Therapist will work in a comfortable, welcoming environment dedicated to health and relaxation.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities.
- Assess client conditions and discuss treatment goals to develop personalized therapy plans.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate follow-up therapies if necessary.
- Keep accurate records of treatments provided and client progress.
- Provide exceptional customer service by creating a relaxing environment and addressing client questions or concerns professionally.
- Stay updated on the latest massage techniques and industry best practices through ongoing education.
Requirements
- Valid massage therapy license or certification as required by state regulations.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to health conditions treated through massage therapy.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
- Excellent communication skills to explain treatment procedures and benefits clearly.
- Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a caring attitude at all times.
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates.
- Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to various client needs.
