We are looking for an experienced Journeyperson Automotive Mechanic to join our team. If you're skilled, reliable, and take pride in doing quality work, we'd love to hear from you.
Duties
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues across engines, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, and more according to manufacturer specification
- Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, tune-ups, etc)
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs, timelines, and maintenance recommendations to ensure excellent customer service
- Focus on fixing vehicles right the first time to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area
What we are looking for:
- Red Seal certification
- Valid drivers license
- Own set of tools
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance
- Skilled in using various hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics for precise repairs
- Knowledge of automotive systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and suspension components
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Experience working with automotive assembly processes and routine maintenance tasks
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Work hours will be Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm
Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
