Egger Excavating Ltd is currently seeking an experienced and dependable AZ Driver / Heavy Equipment Operator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience, take pride in their work, and value hard work, respect, and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, dozers, and other machinery
- Transport heavy equipment and materials using AZ licensed vehicles and trailers to various job sites
- Ability to safely back up and accurately spread stone using a triaxle dump truck
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Complete assigned projects efficiently and professionally
- Work alongside crew members in a respectful and team-oriented environment
- Maintain clean and organized equipment and work areas
- The ability and willingness to perform manual labour when required
Qualifications
- Valid AZ Driver’s License with clean abstract
- Minimum 5 years experience operating heavy equipment
- Experience hauling equipment and materials safely and efficiently
- Strong understanding of construction and excavation practices
- Ability to work long hours and in varying weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Respectful team player with good communication skills
- Ability to set up and operate a laser level efficiently
