Ashley’s Touch Tree Care is a locally owned and operated tree care company serving Orangeville and surrounding areas. We take pride in safe work practices, high-quality tree care, and professional customer service. We are currently seeking a motivated Arborist Apprentice to join our growing team.
Position Overview
The Arborist Apprentice will work alongside experienced arborists to learn the fundamentals of professional tree care. This role is ideal for someone looking to start or build a career in arboriculture through hands-on experience and mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Assist climbers and crew members with tree pruning and removals
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment (chainsaws, chippers, ropes, etc.)
- Set up and clean up job sites
- Learn proper tree care techniques and industry safety standards
- Follow all company and workplace safety procedures
Qualifications
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labour outdoors
- Comfortable working at heights
- Valid driver’s license (G preferred)
- Previous tree care or landscaping experience is an asset, but not required
