Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver / Helper to join our team. This role involves delivering products to customers, assisting with loading and unloading, and ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience in warehouse or commercial driving, and the physical ability to handle heavy loads. Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to various locations
- Assist with loading and unloading products using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary
- Ensure accurate delivery of items according to schedule and customer specifications
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding delivery status or issues
- Move, organize, and handle inventory within the warehouse or storage areas
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the vehicle and work environment
- Assist with warehouse tasks including moving heavy items and supporting inventory management
Skills
- Experience in moving heavy loads safely and efficiently
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and work in physically demanding conditions
- Driving experience preferred, with a valid driver’s class G license required
- Good organizational skills, reliability, and punctuality are essential for success in this role
- Bilingualism an asset
