Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager to oversee all aspects of daily store operations. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with excellent organizational and customer service skills, capable of managing staff, driving sales, controlling costs, and ensuring the store operates efficiently and profitably.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily store and restaurant operations.
- Supervise and lead a team of approximately 5 employees.
- Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate staff.
- Prepare employee schedules and manage labour costs.
- Oversee inventory control, purchasing, and stock ordering.
- Monitor food costs, waste, and overall store profitability.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health and safety standards.
- Handle opening and closing procedures.
- Manage cash handling, POS transactions, and daily reporting.
- Address customer concerns and deliver excellent customer service.
- Implement sales and marketing initiatives to support business growth.
- Maintain company standards and take responsibility for overall store performance
Skills
- Previous experience in a Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar supervisory role.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience with staff scheduling, inventory management, and cash handling.
- Knowledge of food safety and customer service standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong problem-solving and team management skills.
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer applications.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
