What will you do…
As the Health Management Coordinator, you will be a part of the Health Management team across YMCA of Three Rivers. In your role you will be responsible for ensuring excellence in member service through the coordination, administration and delivery of health management programs and services with a focus on adaptive exercise and support for people living with neuro-based conditions, including Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, stroke and spinal cord injury.
The Health Management coordinator will be responsible for providing leadership and support to the Health Management Supervisor in the following ways:

Delivery of Health Management programs, individual consultations and community presentations. Primary sites of program delivery include A.R. Kaufman Family YMCA and Guelph YMCA-YWCA.

Lead and support a volunteer team to deliver high quality programming and also coordinate their schedules.

Monitor program statistics, registration and program supplies.

Responsible for participant recruitment and participant intake processes.

Program communication to YMCA staff, volunteers and connections in the community (organizations and health care providers).

Take a proactive approach with members and participants by assisting them with any needs, inquiries or concerns.

Assist Supervisor with program development and other duties as assigned.
What will you bring…
You will have completed a related university or college degree or diploma, have an active Personal Trainer certification, or professional exercise designation (Registered Kinesiologist or Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology-Certified Exercise Physiologist).
You will be certified in Standard First Aid/CPR-C and AED and have 1-2 years of experience working with adults who are at risk of, or have chronic health conditions. Previous leadership experience would be an asset but is not required. You are computer literate, with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
You are committed to creating an inclusive and safe space for all. You will be committed to working in a socially inclusive environment, responding with sensitivity to diverse needs. You will have well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to establish rapport and excellent communication with staff and YMCA community members.

This role requires regular travel across the region, which may not always be easily accessible through public transit. The employee must be able to arrange their own transportation to these sites. A valid G driver’s license and full time vehicle access are strongly recommended.
