Overview
We are seeking dedicated and skilled AZ/DZ Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of vehicles, including trucks equipped for different loads.
Responsibilities
- Operate various types of vehicles, including fuel and propane trucks, dump trucks, truck and pup, hopper, live bottoms, straight trailer, and refrigerated trailers.
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently, ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies.
- Navigate routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations.
- Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Assist in the training of new drivers on safe driving practices and company procedures.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license with a clean drivers abstract.
- 3 years experience in truck driving, particularly with manual transmission vehicles.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
