We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Automotive Detailer & Shop Assistant to join our team. This role involves cleaning vehicles inside and out while supporting daily shop operations, including parts organization, vehicle transport, and general shop assistance.
Responsibilities
Vehicle Detailing
- Clean vehicles inside and out, including washing, wiping surfaces, and vacuuming
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
- Apply detailing dressings to tires and trim
- Perform polishing when required
- Inspect vehicles to ensure quality standards are met
Shop Support & Organization
- Assist with general shop duties
- Receive and organize parts and materials
- Maintain organized inventory and storage areas
- Support technicians by locating, organizing, and moving parts as needed
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and efficient
Vehicle Transport & Customer Support
- Provide pickup and drop-off service for customers
- Transport vehicles to and from sublet vendors, dealerships, and other service providers
- Move vehicles between shop locations as required
- Ensure safe handling of all vehicles during transport
- Represent the company professionally during customer interactions
Shop Maintenance
- Clean equipment and work areas
- Perform daily shop cleanup (garbage, sweeping, etc.)
- Maintain overall shop cleanliness and organization
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Positive attitude and team-oriented
- Organized and willing to take initiative
- Comfortable with physical, hands-on work
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Automotive or detailing experience is an asset (not required)
