Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Glass Polisher and Driver to join our team. This role involves maintaining high-quality glass surfaces through polishing techniques and safely transporting materials and personnel to various job sites. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and familiarity with construction-related skills. Duties
- Polish glass surfaces using Machine and hand tools to achieve a smooth, high-quality finish.
- Operate company vehicles to transport glass, tools, and personnel safely between locations.
- Assist with installation tasks such as caulking, tile laying, flooring installation, and construction painting as needed.
- Read blueprints and schematics to ensure precise measurements and proper installation procedures.
- Support restoration projects by applying skills in carpentry, plumbing, welding, and other construction trades.
- Use schematics and technical drawings to guide installation and repair work accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Follow all safety protocols during transportation and on-site activities to ensure a secure working environment.
Experience
- Prior experience with hand tools, construction projects, or restoration work is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings is preferred.
- Construction experience in carpentry, caulking, plumbing, welding, flooring installation, or tile laying is advantageous.
- Familiarity with construction painting and general renovation processes will be considered a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required for safe vehicle operation.
- Experience in handling glass or working within the glazing industry is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided for specific tasks as needed.
