We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Acupuncturist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide expert acupuncture treatments to patients, promoting wellness and pain relief through traditional Chinese medicine techniques. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate acupuncture treatment plans
- Administer acupuncture sessions using sterile needles, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Educate patients on treatment procedures, benefits, and aftercare instructions
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate comprehensive patient care strategies
- Stay updated on the latest acupuncture techniques and integrate evidence-based practices into treatments
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all patients
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols, including proper sterilization and infection control procedures
Skills
- Proven experience as an Acupuncturist, preferably with hospital or clinical background
- Strong understanding of patient care principles and medical terminology
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail for precise needle placement
- Compassionate communication skills to effectively educate and reassure patients
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Knowledge of holistic health practices and current trends in acupuncture therapy
