Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Loading and Unloading Associate to join our warehouse team. This role involves the safe handling, movement, and management of goods within a fast-paced distribution environment. Candidates with warehouse experience, mechanical knowledge, and familiarity with heavy equipment operation are encouraged to apply. Duties
- Load and unload shipments using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, crane, clamp truck, or order picker
- Safely operate heavy machinery including forklifts and other heavy equipment in compliance with safety standards
- Perform order picking accurately using warehouse management systems to fulfill customer orders
- Assist with inventory management by organizing stock and maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing goods
- Ensure proper handling of materials during loading and unloading processes to prevent damage or injury
- Support shipping and receiving functions by preparing shipments for dispatch and verifying incoming deliveries
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency during operations
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals
Experience
- Prior warehouse distribution or logistics experience preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation beneficial
- Experience operating forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, or other heavy machinery required
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous
- Hands-on experience in shipping & receiving processes or order picking is a plus
- Background in construction or similar physically demanding roles is helpful but not mandatory
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and procedures

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
