Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Crew Member to join our landscaping and construction team. This role involves working outdoors on various projects, including landscape maintenance, irrigation, gardening, and construction tasks. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, possess mechanical knowledge, and be eager to contribute to creating and maintaining beautiful, functional outdoor spaces.
Duties
- Assist with landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, planting, and pruning
- Operate equipment such as excavators, power tools, and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Support irrigation system installation and repairs
- Perform gardening tasks including planting, watering, fertilizing, and mulching
- Conduct general maintenance of tools and equipment to ensure optimal operation
- Assist with construction projects involving site preparation, material handling, and assembly
- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to client specifications
Requirements
- Prior experience or familiarity with excavators, irrigation systems, gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and experience operating hand tools and power tools is highly desirable
- Basic understanding of construction processes and maintenance tasks
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety procedures
- Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy materials and operating equipment for extended periods
- Reliable transportation to job sites; valid driver’s license is a plus
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from supervisors
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
