Job Description: Our gym in Chilliwack is growing, and we’re looking for a passionate, technical, and reliable Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Instructor to join our coaching staff. Whether you’re a seasoned black belt or an aspiring color belt with a gift for teaching, we want someone who prioritizes student growth, safety, and a "leave your ego at the door" mentality.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead Kid and/or Teen (Jiu Jitsu Gi and No-Gi).
- Develop and implement a structured curriculum that caters to all skill levels.
- Foster a positive, disciplined, and safe training environment.
- Assist with student evaluations and promotions.
- Effectively and respectfully communicate with prospective students, active gym members and parents.
- Maintain cleanliness of the gym and equipment.
- Perform receptionist position when needed.

Qualifications:
- Color Belt from a recognized lineage.
- Previous coaching experience (references highly valued).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- A clean criminal record check (required for youth coaching).

- Experience in Muay Thai or MMA.
Schedule:
We offer high flexibility for the right coach. Shifts can be arranged across:
- Mornings, Noons, Afternoons, or Evenings.
- We will work with you to create a sustainable coaching schedule that fits your lifestyle and your other job (if applicable) schedule.
Relocation: Planning to move to the Fraser Valley? Relocation assistance might be available and can be discussed for the right candidate.
