You, as a Project Coordinator, Facilities, will:
- Support the Project Manager in coordinating facility maintenance and capital improvement projects, including administrative and operational tasks
- Assist with procurement activities, vendor coordination, and contribute to cost tracking and basic estimation for maintenance projects
- Review, monitor, and update project schedules to ensure timely completion of facility-related work
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including shop drawings, RFIs, change notices, and as-built records for facility assets
- Liaise and communicate regularly with internal stakeholders, building occupants, contractors, consultants, and maintenance teams
- Assist in conducting site inspections, quality assurance checks, and tracking progress of maintenance and repair work
- Provide clarification of drawings, specifications, and maintenance requirements to contractors and service providers
- Identify and help resolve conflicts across building systems (structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical) by coordinating with consultants and vendors
- Ensure all maintenance and project activities comply with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and organizational standards
- Track project updates, maintain records of completed work, and support reporting on facilities projects and performance metrics
Is this role right for you?
- Engineering diploma (Civil, Construction, Mechanical, Electrical) is ideal or equivalent experience in project coordination
- Previous experience in coordination of subtrades and/or subcontractor procurement is an asset
- Ideally have a working knowledge of project management software with a fluency in excel
You work positively within a team to achieve a common goal of completion of the project
The salary range for this role is $60,000 - $70,000
