We’re looking for a detail-oriented, people-focused Payroll Coordinator to join and support our growing team. If you enjoy balancing numbers with people operations and want to make a meaningful impact, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time in collaboration with the payroll team.
- Maintain payroll records, including wages, deductions, and PTO
- Facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition.
- Ensure compliance with Employment Standards Act and payroll regulations
- Respond to employee payroll questions and resolve discrepancies
- Collaborate with department heads on all payroll and HR-related matters to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency.
- Handle other payroll responsibilities as assigned to support the team and organizational needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in full-cycle payroll and HR administration.
- Working knowledge of payroll laws and HR best practices
- Experience with payroll systems and HRIS platforms; preferably Ceridian Dayforce and Push
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Must be legally able to work in Canada
