Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our retail team. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash, credit, and digital payments
- Handle cash handling responsibilities with precision and integrity
- Provide product demos and upsell items to enhance sales opportunities
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure product availability
- Manage customer inquiries via phone etiquette and in-person interactions
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
- Ensure the checkout area remains clean, organized, and welcoming
- Support sales initiatives through effective communication and customer engagement
Skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling and transactions
- Experience with POS systems and retail sales processes
- Ability to perform product demos and upselling techniques
- Organizational skills to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities (English required) for serving diverse customers
- Knowledge of merchandising, technical sales, or technology sales is a plus
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining professionalism
- Strong time management skills to balance multiple tasks seamlessly
Pay: $15.35-$17.50 per hour
