We have proudly been serving Truro and surrounding areas since 2010 along with our sister store in New Glasgow which opened in 2012! Retail Sales Associate Responsibilities:
- Share your expertise in pet care and nutrition to help fellow pet parents make informed decisions to support the overall health and well-being of their companion pets
- Build lasting customer relationships
- Assist your team in all aspects of operating the workplace (inventory maintenance, merchandising, store cleanliness, etc.) and creating a fun, inviting space for all
- Undergo frequent product training
- Represent Global Pet Foods at local events
- Assist in job shadowing for new employees

Retail Sales Associate Qualifications and Skills:
- 1 Year of Experience Required
- The ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences
- A genuine interest in animal care and well-being (caring for your own pet or volunteering with pets is a strong asset)
- The ability to lift and stack up to 33lbs/Comfortable using ladders/can stand for long periods of time
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and numeracy skills
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to work shifts on weekdays, evenings, and weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation
- Proficiency using computers, POS systems, email, and spreadsheets
