Your Role in Supporting Our Members:
As a Senior Marketing Specialist, you will join our Brand team for a six-month contract and help deliver some of the most visible and impactful initiatives underway across Vancity. This role will play a key part in bringing the Vancity brand to life across two new flagship branch locations, member-facing experiences, and our growing Visa portfolio. You will combine strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and brand stewardship skills to ensure complex initiatives are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard. We are seeking a highly organized marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, confidently navigates ambiguity, and excels at driving cross-functional collaboration.
This is a Full-time, Temporary role based at our Vancity head office and will report directly to the Manager, Branding and Digital Marketing.
While this position provides a hybrid work arrangement, you will be expected to be on-site for events and business demands.
How You'll Make an Impact:
- Supporting the delivery of branded elements across two new flagship branch locations
- Leading the delivery of branded member experience elements including signage, digital displays, wayfinding, storytelling, and member-facing materials
- Coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to deliver projects on time and to a high standard
- Ensuring brand standards are consistently applied across physical and digital member touchpoints
- Supporting the rollout of Vancity’s refreshed brand across member-facing channels and experiences
- Coordinating the development and implementation of branded assets and marketing materials
- Managing project timelines, budgets, approvals, and stakeholder communications across multiple initiatives
- Supporting Visa product initiatives, including rebranded member touchpoints and new product launches
- Coordinating creative development, implementation plans, and stakeholder reviews with large cross-functional working groups
- Identifying risks, resolving issues proactively, and maintaining momentum across concurrent projects while delivering strong member and business outcomes
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- 7+ years of experience in marketing, brand management, project management, communications, or a related discipline
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
- Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementation
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets, timelines, approvals, and stakeholder communications
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management capabilities
- Experience working with creative agencies, production vendors, and external partners
- Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, influence decision-making, and build alignment across diverse stakeholder groups
Extra Skills That Set You Apart:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management training
- Experience working within financial services, retail, or member-focused organizations
- Experience supporting branch openings, brand transformations, or product launch initiatives

What You’ll Earn:
This role offers a salary range of $76,500 to $99,000 per annum. The base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills, previous experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
