Bock & Company Law Office is a small legal practice based in Esterhazy, SK. We are looking to expand our team of 2 lawyers and 2 support staff. We are a fast-paced, client-focused law office seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in keeping things organized and running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, format and proofread legal documents and correspondence to ensure accuracy and clarity
- Communicate with clients in a professional, timely manner
- Manage calendars and schedule appointments
- File and organize physical and electronic documents
- Assist with file management, billing and general administrative tasks
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a legal assistant or senior administrative role preferred, but not required
- Ability to maintain utmost confidentiality
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, in a high-volume, time-sensitive setting
- Excellent writing skills with attention to detail for proofreading and drafting legal documents
- Effective communication skills, including professional phone etiquette
- Proficiency with standard office software (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
- Knowledge of legal procedures, document filing systems, and basic legal drafting techniques is advantageous
- Professional, dependable and client-service oriented
