WHAT THE ROLE IS ALL ABOUT!
Reporting to the Site Foreman, the HDPE Fusing Technician will support the sewer and water crew by operating fusion equipment to fuse HDPE pipe systems safely and efficiently, including pipe sizes up to 32 inches. This is a field-based position that will work on a rotational schedule where camp accommodations are provided.

ESSENTIAL CONTRIBUTIONS WE NEED FROM YOU!
- Ability to fuse HDPE pipe up to 32” diameter.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, piping layouts, and project specifications.
- Knowledge of butt fusion, electrofusion, and/or socket fusion processes.
- Knowledge of HDPE pipe standards, quality control procedures, and testing requirements.
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot fusion issues or equipment problems.
- Ability to work around excavation sites, trenching operations, and heavy machinery.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and performing manual labour.
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU A POSITIVE IMPACT?
- Minimum 2+ years' experience fusing 4" to 32" pipe is required.
- Must hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
- Valid HDPE fusing certification required.
- Sewer and water experience is considered an asset.
- Must be willing and able to work in variable weather conditions.
- Experience operating zoom boom or loader is considered an asset.
- Must always keep safety a top priority.
