Salary: $125,000 - $135,000 annually

Job Responsibilities / Summary:
Our client, a well-established manufacturing organization, is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead quality systems, continuous improvement initiatives, and a team of six quality professionals. This role will be responsible for driving quality performance, operational excellence, food safety compliance, and continuous improvement throughout the facility.
- Lead and maintain the plant’s Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with customer specifications, regulatory requirements, BRCGS standards, and food safety requirements for food-contact packaging.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, root cause analysis, and process optimization tools to improve quality, productivity, efficiency, and reduce waste.
- Manage all quality-related activities including audits, customer complaints, non-conformance investigations, corrective actions, product testing, inspections, KPI reporting, and quality documentation.
- Champion health, safety, and environmental compliance by supporting safety programs, promoting safe work practices, participating in investigations, and ensuring quality activities align with company safety standards.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of six quality and continuous improvement professionals while fostering a culture of accountability, operational excellence, customer focus, and cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- 5+ years of Quality Management and Continuous Improvement experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing teams.
- Experience within the printing, flexible packaging, blown film extrusion, packaging, or related manufacturing industries is highly preferred.
- Experience supporting food safety and quality systems within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems, audits, corrective actions, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, 5S, A3 Problem Solving, FMEA, and other operational excellence tools.
- Knowledge of BRCGS standards would be considered a strong asset.
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, project management, and team development skills.
Pay: $125,000.00-$135,000.00 per year
