Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Residential Cleaner to provide regular cleaning services for both regular clients and senior clients. In addition to standard cleaning duties, the successful candidate will play a vital role in observing senior clients and their living spaces for any signs that may indicate a need for transitioning to retirement living or assisted care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough residential cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bathroom and kitchen sanitization, and laundry as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for senior clients.
- Observe and discreetly note any changes in the client’s physical condition, mobility, cognitive function, or home environment that may suggest the need for additional support or transition to retirement living.
- Report observations sensitively and professionally to management for further assessment.
- Build trusting relationships with clients through respectful and empathetic interactions.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
Requirements
- Previous experience in residential cleaning or home care preferred.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor, especially when working with seniors.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Excellent communication skills.
Schedule & Compensation
Initial schedule: 15-20 hours per week, primarily Monday, Wednesday, and Friday between the hours of 9AM-4PM. Hours will increase as the business grows, if desired.
Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
