Seven Eighty Developments is growing. We are seeking a seasoned Site Supervisor to lead new home construction across Edmonton and surrounding communities.
You will take ownership of daily site operations, coordinate trades and suppliers, manage schedules, and maintain high standards for safety, quality, organization, and communication.
We bring extensive construction experience, practical decision-making, and a strong commitment to the people who trust us with their projects. Your judgment will matter. You will work directly with experienced leadership and help strengthen our field operations as our residential and commercial portfolio grows.

What you will lead
- Manage daily construction from excavation and foundation through possession and closeout.
- Build and maintain schedules for trades, inspections, materials, equipment, and project milestones.
- Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, confirm site readiness, remove barriers, and hold commitments.
- Review drawings, specifications, selections, scopes, and change information. Identify conflicts before work begins.
- Inspect work throughout construction. Record deficiencies, assign corrective work, and confirm completion.
- Maintain safe, clean, secure, and organized job sites.
- Enforce Seven Eighty Developments’ safety requirements and Alberta occupational health and safety obligations.
- Lead site orientations, hazard assessments, toolbox meetings, incident reporting, and required records.
- Work closely with project management on scheduling, procurement, costs, risks, decisions, and client commitments.
- Coordinate municipal inspections and support permit, utility, occupancy, and warranty requirements.
- Maintain daily logs, progress photos, trade records, delivery records, and clear written updates.
- Manage seasonal conditions, site access, security, waste, finished-work protection, and neighbourhood impacts.
- Support client walkthroughs, possession readiness, deficiency completion, and warranty handoff.
- Coach developing team members and help improve field systems as Seven Eighty Developments grows.

- Sites remain safe, clean, prepared, and professionally managed.
- Trades understand the schedule, scope, and quality expectations.
- Risks surface early, followed by clear recovery plans.
- Work meets approved drawings, building codes, specifications, selections, and company standards.
- Clients, consultants, inspectors, trades, and project managers receive clear and respectful communication.
- Homes reach possession with fewer deficiencies and complete closeout records.
What you bring
- Seven or more years of construction experience.
- At least three years leading residential construction sites or comparable projects.
- Strong knowledge of new home construction sequencing, building envelopes, interior finishes, inspections, and closeout.
- Proven experience coordinating multiple trades and priorities while protecting quality and schedule.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, site plans, and scopes of work.
- Sound judgment, personal accountability, and a calm approach to field challenges.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Comfort using email, mobile applications, schedules, progress photos, and digital site documentation.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence, clean driver’s abstract, and reliable transportation.
- Current First Aid, WHMIS, and CSTS training, or willingness to complete required training.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada.
Experience we value
- Custom homes, infill developments, duplexes, townhomes, or small multi-family construction.
- Commercial construction, tenant improvements, or general contracting.
- Journeyperson certification, Gold Seal certification, construction management education, or equivalent field training.
- Home warranty, turnover, estimating, procurement, or project management experience.
- Experience improving field procedures, schedules, templates, or quality-control systems.
