Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead our wholesale team and drive sales growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of retail sales operations. This role involves overseeing daily warehouse & office activities, managing staff, and implementing effective sales strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and achieve business objectives. Prior supervisory experience are highly valued to ensure effective team management and customer engagement across diverse clientele.
Duties
- Lead and supervise the wholesale sales team to meet or exceed sales targets while maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans, marketing initiatives, and promotional campaigns to attract new customers and retain existing clients.
- Oversee merchandising, pricing strategies, and inventory purchasing to optimize profitability.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff through ongoing coaching, performance evaluations, and professional development programs.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, prepare reports, and analyze data to inform decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and store procedures.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints efficiently, and foster positive relationships with clients.
- Coordinate with marketing teams to execute promotional activities and community engagement efforts.
- Manage administrative responsibilities such as payroll processing, budgeting, and organizational planning.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail management or sales management with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are preferred for broader customer engagement.
- Experience in recruiting, training & development, supervising staff, and team management.
- Knowledge of marketing techniques relevant to retail settings along with budgeting experience.
- Ability to analyze sales data using math skills for reporting purposes.
- Exceptional customer service skills coupled with phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities.
- Leadership qualities such as motivation, strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and time management are essential.
