Bartender
Salary Range: $15 per hour
Employment Type: Full time (with the opportunity to work up to 35–40 hours per week)

Our client in the hospitality, food, and catering industry is seeking a skilled and creative Bartender to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a solid knowledge of cocktails, beverages, and bar operations, and will deliver exceptional customer service in a lively and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Create and refine signature cocktails that complement the restaurant’s menu and enhance the overall dining experience.
- Maintain bar inventory, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with the operations manager for ordering supplies.
- Ensure compliance with Alberta liquor laws and responsible service guidelines.
- Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-maintained, ensuring all equipment and glassware meet health and safety standards.
- Engage guests with professionalism and enthusiasm, fostering a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.
- Assist in developing drink promotions and seasonal beverage features.
- Support special events and functions with creative drink options and bar setups.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of bartending experience in a restaurant, bar, or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
- ProServe Certification required (or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage high-volume service.
- Creativity in drink presentation and recipe development.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
