As we are into summer, we're looking for a Shift Lead to join the team. This isn't a standard coffee shop; you'll be working in the forest beside the Mamquam River.
What you'll be doing
You'll make drinks, serve food, keep things clean, and help guests feel welcome. As a lead, you'll also help keep the shift moving, supporting the team, handling little issues as they come up, opening or closing, and making sure things run smoothly.
The basics
Barista and counter work (training provided). Keeping the space clean and stocked. Helping with food, POS, and daily tasks. Ideally available Wednesdays through Sundays.
What we're looking for
Some experience in coffee, food service, or customer service helps, though not strictly required. More importantly: you stay calm when it's busy, communicate clearly, show up reliably, and work well with people. You don't mind standing, lifting upto 40 lbs, and moving quickly when needed.
Nice to have (but not necessary)
FOODSAFE Level 1, Serving It Right, First Aid (OFA Level 1), or a second language.
