Exciting Opportunity for Registered Dental Hygienists !
Sun Dentistry in Richmond location is looking for a passionate, hard-working Registered Dental Hygienist on a part-time basis. Permanent employment. Experience with dental practice management software ClearDent is considered an asset. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families. Customer service mindset. Saturday or Sunday is needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and treatment plans
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records using ClearDent
- Ensure a clean and sterile environment following infection control protocols
- Offer excellent customer service by addressing patient concerns professionally and empathetically
Qualifications
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in the province
- Prior experience in a dental office setting preferred
- Proficiency in dental and medical terminology.
- Ability to speak Mandarin or Cantonese is a strong asset
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to educate patients effectively
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and professionalism in all interactions
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $60.00-$70.00 per hour
