We're looking for an enthusiastic Sales & Design Consultant to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting new people, solving problems, and building relationships while earning a rewarding income.
Whether your background is in consultative sales, home improvement, furniture, interior design, or customer service, we'll provide the training and support to help you succeed.
What You'll Do
As a Sales & Design Consultant, you'll guide homeowners through every step of their project—from the initial consultation to the final installation.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting professional in-home design consultations throughout Muskoka and surrounding communities.
- Listening carefully to customers' needs and recommending customized window covering solutions.
- Presenting our extensive collection of blinds, shades, shutters, drapery, exterior shades, and motorized window treatments.
- Measuring windows and preparing accurate quotations.
- Taking final measurements and submitting detailed work orders.
- Managing projects from consultation through installation and follow-up.
- Building lasting customer relationships that generate referrals and repeat business.
- Continuing to develop your product knowledge and understanding of current design trends and smart home technology.
- Working closely with our office and installation teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who enjoys helping people and takes pride in delivering outstanding service.
Qualifications include:
- Previous consultative sales experience is preferred.
- Experience in consultative sales, home improvement, or interior design is an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Confidence working independently while managing appointments.
- Attention to detail and an appreciation for design.
- Comfortable using technology for scheduling, quoting, and customer communication.
- A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
