KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plant new trees, flowers, and various plants
- Maintain and grow gardens to ensure it meets specific requirements and expectations
- Perform basic maintenance such as cutting grass, managing weed control and leaf raking
- Work with hand tools and basic light machinery such as lawnmower and weed whacker
- Clean and organize all garden equipment/tools
- Maintain a clean garden by clearing leaves, branches, weeds and litter from the garden and grounds
- Wheelbarrowing and spreading soil, mulch and other garden materials
- Lifting and carrying bagged garden materials repeatedly throughout the day
- Ensure a safe environment by adhering to safety and health regulations and policies
- Perform additional duties as needed
THE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES NEEDED:
· Energetic, positive and outgoing
· Physically able to perform labour intensive work such as lifting and bending repeatedly
· Excellent time-management skills
· Ability to work in various weather conditions
· Exceptionally detail oriented
· Desire to learn and take initiative
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
· Valid G level driver’s licence with clean abstract
· Capable of standing, bending and lifting for extended periods
· Legally eligible to work in Canada

Salary Range:

Pay: $17.59-$29.50 per hour
