Rogue Artisan Boutique is a locally owned boutique featuring handcrafted jewelry, artisan goods, home décor, self-care products, gifts, and products from Canadian makers. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming shopping experience and helping customers find meaningful gifts and treasures they love.
We are looking for a friendly, outgoing, and reliable team member who genuinely enjoys connecting with people and creating memorable customer experiences.
Position Overview
This role is ideal for someone who loves retail, enjoys conversation, and thrives in a customer-focused environment. The successful candidate will be comfortable approaching customers, building relationships, making recommendations, and helping drive sales while maintaining a beautiful and organized store.
Responsibilities
Welcome and engage customers in a warm, genuine manner
Provide exceptional customer service and create positive shopping experiences
Learn product lines and confidently recommend products to customers
Assist customers with gift selections and product questions
Process sales through our point-of-sale system
Help achieve sales goals through strong customer engagement
Merchandise products and maintain attractive displays
Restock inventory and keep the store organized
Assist with receiving shipments and pricing products
Maintain store cleanliness and presentation standards
Support social media content creation when needed
Assist with light jewelry assembly and product preparation (training provided)
We're Looking For Someone Who
Has previous retail, sales, or customer service experience
Loves interacting with people and building relationships
Is confident starting conversations with customers
Has a positive, energetic, and friendly personality
Is dependable and takes initiative
Works well independently and as part of a team
Has strong attention to detail
Enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment
Is comfortable using technology and learning new systems
Is available to work weekdays, evenings, and occasional weekends
Bonus Qualifications
Experience in boutique retail
Experience with social media content creation
Interest in handmade products, jewelry, fashion, or artisan goods
Previous sales experience with proven results
