Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform dental cleanings, and assist in maintaining a comfortable and efficient dental environment. Responsibilities
- Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and treatment plans
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
- Ensure the sterilization and proper handling of dental instruments and equipment
- Manage patient scheduling, follow-up appointments, and patient inquiries with excellent customer service
- Support pediatric patients by creating a friendly and reassuring environment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse patient base
- Familiarity with infection control protocols and sterilization procedures
- Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to patient care
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
