Rip's Cleats is seeking a motivated and reliable Assistant Manager to support daily warehouse operations and help deliver an excellent customer experience. In this role, you will manage staff supervision, inventory management, sales performance and outstanding customer service while maintaining a clean, organized and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
-Support day-to-day warehouse operation, including opening and closing procedures
-Assist with recruiting, onboarding and training new team members to ensure they understand warehouse standards and expectations
-Create schedules and manage labor efficiently
-Provide outstanding customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally
-Monitor inventory and parts for manufacturing levels and support inventory counts
-Help drive sales through product knowledge
-Ensure store policies, merchandising standards, and safety guidelines are followed
Qualification:
-High school graduation (Grade 12) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
-Possession of relevant administration course completion certificates is an asset
-Previous retail or customer service experience (supervisory experience preferred)
-Strong communications and leadership skills
-Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
-Reliable, organized, and team-orientated
