Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Assist in managing restaurant operations, including staffing, training, and scheduling of team members.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Supervise and support staff in their daily tasks, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
- Manage cash handling procedures, including processing payments and balancing cash drawers at the end of shifts.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels to minimize waste.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies for improving service quality and operational efficiency.
- Ensuring adherence to drink recipes and responsible alcohol service.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is required; hospitality experience is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
- Experience with cash handling procedures is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with staff and customers.
