Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Department Manager to lead our team in a fast-paced food service environment. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate activities of restaurant staff during assigned shifts
- Ensure compliance with company standards related to quality, customer service, cleanliness, and food safety
- Monitor labour costs, cash handling procedures, and waste management targets during operations
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations including opening and closing procedures
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with management regarding ordering and supply needs
- Address customer concerns and assist in resolving operational issues during shifts
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety policies and company operational procedures
- Assist in achieving operational and financial performance targets
