Job Title: Hose Assembly Technician
B. Job Summary
The Hydraulic Hose Assembly Technician is responsible for the assembly, inspection, and support of hydraulic and industrial hose products for Wil-Tech customers. This position plays a key role in ensuring customers receive accurate, high-quality hose assemblies with industry-leading turnaround times.
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, safety-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment.
C. Essential Tasks and Responsibilities
* Including but not limited to.
1. Hose Assembly & Production
· Assemble hydraulic and industrial hose assemblies to manufacturer and Wil-Tech specifications
· Measure, cut, crimp, label, cap, and package hose assemblies accurately
· Verify correct hose, fittings, adapters, and components prior to assembly
· Operate hose crimping, cutting, testing, and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
· Perform pressure testing and inspection procedures where required
2. Customer Service & Counter Support
· Assist customers with hose and fitting identification
· Support walk-in and emergency hose replacement requests
· Help provide accurate product recommendations and assembly solutions
· Maintain a professional and customer-focused attitude at all times
3. Inventory & Shop Organization
· Assist with inventory stocking and replenishment of hose and fittings
· Maintain organized hose racks, bins, and assembly areas
· Participate in cycle counts and inventory accuracy initiatives
· Ensure proper labeling and storage of products
4. Quality Control
· Inspect finished assemblies for:
o Correct length and orientation
o Proper crimp specifications
o Cleanliness and workmanship
· Follow Parker and manufacturer assembly standards
· Ensure all assemblies meet Wil-Tech quality expectations before shipment or customer pickup
5. Safety & Housekeeping
· Follow all Wil-Tech safety policies and procedures
· Wear required PPE and operate equipment safely
· Maintain a clean and organized work environment
· Participate in safety meetings, hazard assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives
D. Education and Experience
* A comparable amount of training and experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.
· Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience preferred
· Previous experience with hydraulic hose assembly or industrial products is considered an asset
· Forklift certification is an asset
· Ability to safely lift and move products/materials
· Valid driver’s license considered an asset

Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
