Position Overview
Under the supervision of the Regional General Manager, the Guest Services Supervisor is responsible for providing guidance for the Guest Services team while ensuring the highest level of customer service for our guests. The Guest Services Supervisor is also responsible for daily check in and out procedures, handling guest inquiries, and providing basic concierge services.
Wage: $20-$21
Full-time/Permanent
Key Responsibilities

Perform random inspections of units and report to the Regional General Manager and Housekeeping Manager any deficiencies that require attention.

Perform all front desk duties as outlined in the Guest Services job description.

Provide support to team members and assist when needed.

Actively engage and build positive relationships with all guests and co-workers, and management.

Ensure every guest is provided with the best possible experience.

Ensure quality staging of available Hotel Rooms and Units to ensure guest satisfaction.

Field guest complaints and inquiries while developing and negotiating the most effective solutions within the parameters outlined by the Guest Services Manager.

Coordinate with the Housekeeping Supervisors / Manager to track readiness of rooms for check-in at all properties.

Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest.

Complete daily check lists and clearly communicate through daily pass on with colleagues and with Regional General Manager.

At all times promote a positive image of Basecamp Property Management Ltd.

Fulfill all other assigned tasks as per the request of Guest Services Manager and the Director of Operations.
Requirements

Demonstrate organizational skills and strong attention to detail.

Able to work well independently with little supervision.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Take initiative in solving problems.

Excellent guest services skills.

Promote positive relationships in communication and cooperation with all coworkers and guests.

Must be proficient with the use of computers and telephones, including the use of the Property Management Systems used within Basecamp Property Management Ltd.

Must be approachable by other coworkers and maintain confidentiality.
