Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychotherapist, Counsellor, or Psychologist to join our mental health team. This is an independent contractor position only. The successful candidate will provide specialised therapeutic support to individuals experiencing a range of emotional and psychological challenges.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and develop tailored care plans.
- Deliver individual, group, or family therapy sessions using recognised therapeutic modalities.
- Maintain detailed records of client progress, treatment plans, and session notes in accordance with organisational policies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for clients.
- Utilise effective communication skills to build trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Incorporate IT tools for documentation, scheduling, and teletherapy sessions where appropriate.
- Monitor and evaluate client progress regularly, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary.
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Recognized qualification in psychotherapy, counselling, social work, or clinical psychology.
- Proven experience working with a variety of client groups and presenting issues.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to listen empathetically and convey complex concepts clearly.
- Proficiency in IT systems relevant to mental health practice (Jane), including electronic health records and telehealth platforms.
- Ability to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Registration or accreditation with relevant professional bodies (e.g., CRPO, NSCCT) is required.

Pay: $100.00-$140.00 per hour
