What You’ll Be Doing: Reporting to the National Director of Resident Engagement, the Regional Resident Engagement Partner provides strategic support to Resident Engagement Managers (REMs) across Retirement Division. This role is responsible for ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality resident engagement programs and promotes operational excellence through training, site audits and continuous quality improvement.
The Regional Resident Engagement Partner plays a critical role in identifying operational risk, developing improvement strategies and supports the development of procedures and standards that enhance resident experience and ensure consistency across communities.
- Assists in developing program pilots, and the roll out of enterprise-wide initiatives to meet the future growth demands of the department.
- Assists with recruitment, onboarding, training, and evaluation of new Resident Engagement Managers (REMs).
- Provides additional support and mentoring to REMs in all areas of the job (engagement, administration, and leadership).
- Assists with program and operational standards compliance to champion communication and continuous improvement within the region.
- Chair meetings, lead working groups, conduct presentations and training.
- Reviewing reports, calendars, and newsletters; supporting CQI strategies.
- Identifies areas of risk related to resident engagement programming and operations and collaborates with site and regional leadership to develop and implement mitigation plans.
- Conducts structured site audits of resident engagement operations, evaluates program quality and standards compliance, and develops action plans in partnership with the Resident Engagement Manager and General Manager to drive continuous improvement.
- Provides the General Manager and regional leadership with informed feedback on the performance of Resident Engagement Managers, including observations related to program delivery, team leadership, and operational standards.
- Contributes to the development, review, and refinement of resident engagement policies, procedures, and operational standards, supporting consistent application across communities.
Who you are:
Work Experience / Education / Certification
- At least 3 years’ experience in a leadership role in the fitness and lifestyle wellness field in senior living.
- Minimum of three years of management and supervisory experience with hiring, onboarding, performance management, scheduling, and supervising a team.
- A degree or diploma in Gerontology, Kinesiology, Human Kinetics, Therapeutic Recreation, Leisure Studies, Health Promotion, or Health Sciences.
- Minimum of three years’ experience programming for seniors in an independent living, assisted living, or senior community centre environment or similar setting.
- Certified to teach group land fitness (and aquatic fitness where applicable) through a Sienna-approved organization, or willingness to obtain within the first 60 days post-hire.

- Salary Range: $69,953 - $87,442 **Please note that individual salary is determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience, as well as internal equity**
