We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Stylist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hair care and styling services to our clients. Your expertise in various hair techniques, combined with outstanding customer service skills, will ensure that each client leaves feeling confident and satisfied. Duties
- Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area in compliance with health regulations.
- Use salon software, for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by actively listening to clients’ needs and providing personalized recommendations.
- Assist with retail sales by promoting products that complement the services provided.
- Perform makeup application services as needed.
- Engage in upselling services and products to enhance the client experience.
- Manage front desk operations including greeting clients and handling inquiries.
Skills
- Proficient in cosmetology and barbering techniques with a strong understanding of color theory.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Experience with salon management tasks including retail math for inventory control.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
- Familiarity with retail sales strategies to promote salon products effectively.
