Job Overview
Orion Landscape is seeking a dedicated Landscape Technician to join our team and contribute to maintaining and enhancing outdoor environments. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture, gardening, and landscape maintenance, with the experience and skills necessary to operate various tools and equipment. Requirements
Lifting up to 50lbs occasionally, or 25lbs frequently.
Must have own vehicle/reliable transportation. Transit will not work.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, planting, and fertilizing
- Use hand tools and power tools for planting, pruning, and other gardening activities
- Follow safety protocols during all operations to maintain a secure work environment
Experience
- Prior experience in landscaping, gardening, or horticulture is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating machinery such as excavators and irrigation systems is a plus
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques is desirable
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic equipment maintenance is beneficial
- Knowledge of plant care, soil management, and environmental considerations will enhance performance in this role
