You will be responsible for the prompt and accurate assembly of customer orders from the warehouse facilities based on a strong knowledge of product and product availability. You will confirm that all orders are accurate and assembled free from defects in a neat presentation. Other responsibilities will include load/unload shipments of incoming supplies and prepare shipments for delivery. The Order Picker will be required to follow all safe work policies and procedures and work to maintain a clean warehouse environment.

Role Specific Accountabilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
. Assist the supervisor with the activities of the Order Pickers team in order to meet productivity requirements and quality standards.
· Inspect product to ensure saleable condition with acceptable code dating and manage discrepancies when necessary.
· Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities when necessary, with other units.
· Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
· Manage and maintain all required paperwork and records for reporting and tracking.
· Assist with the training of staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policy.
· Maintain organized work area according to policies, procedures and safety regulations.
· Identify and report, potential safety hazards to supervisor
· Read work orders, assemble customer orders from stock, and place orders on pallets.
· Prepare orders for shipment and move orders to the staging area for shipment.
· Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
· Ability to work in cold temperatures of 1°C/32°F.
· Prepare receiving dock to accept incoming product.
· Oversee the secure and accurate loading and unloading of deliveries.
· Sort and distribute incoming shipments.
· Match product with purchase orders and verify received product expiration codes.
· Operate Walkie in a safe manner to move received product.
· Process all required paperwork and maintain adequate records for reporting and tracking.
· Problem solve for any cases of missing documents, shipments and deliveries.
· May be required to assist with scheduling freight appointments.
· May lift cases of product and/or stock merchandise according to documented procedure (up to 50 lbs.)
