Duties
- Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing materials and supplies on-site
- Prepare work areas by cleaning, clearing debris, and setting up necessary tools and equipment
- Support tradespeople by holding materials, tools, or equipment during tasks
- Perform general site cleanup to maintain a safe and tidy work environment
- Carry out basic construction tasks such as digging, lifting, or moving materials under supervision
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and injuries
- Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting shortages
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and bending or kneeling regularly
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions clearly
- Basic understanding of safety procedures in construction or industrial settings
- Prior experience in general labour or construction is a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Reliable transportation to get to job sites as needed
