Smooth Moves is hiring a full-time Lead Hand / Driver in Greater Sudbury.
We are looking for a motivated, reliable individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment while leading a moving crew and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Lead a crew of movers on residential and commercial moves
- Safely operate a 5-ton moving truck
- Lift and carry heavy furniture and household goods daily
- Handle customer interactions professionally
- Complete paperwork and collect payments
- Work efficiently in a team environment
Requirements
- Valid Ontario G licence with clean abstract
- Comfortable driving a 5-ton truck
- Able to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the day
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Experience in moving, construction, delivery, or physical labour preferred
